The movie "Dawn of a New Day", directed by Kiyoshi Sasabe, is splendid. The story follows a man who gets newly appointed as head of a failing division in the company(Viktor) that he works for. Instead of getting depressed, he pushes forward and has a great new idea for a home video cassette player, but Sony beats him to it with their Betamax. Will he be able to build a better unit than Sony's Betamax before all the major companies buy into the Betamax? Watch the movie to find out!
This movie has some very talented actors who demonstrate their abilities throughout the entire movie. Even if you can't speak japanese you can understand what's going on just by watching the action.
After seeing this movie you will think that you can accomplish anything. No matter what obstacles appeared before the team from Viktor, they persevered and broke their way through each and every one. Especially the main character. He has a hard choice to make near the end, and hegets past it to see his vision come true.
